Perhaps if anyone ever dreamed of traveling on the ocean, he immediately imagined the Pacific. Although this is not surprising. No sea, no bay or lake can compare with the grandeur, beauty and power, which are presented to our gaze, looking at the water surface of the Pacific. There really is a place to “run wild” and give free rein to your imagination. Among numerous islands (here you can read about Bali wedding), archipelagos and reefs, lost from the hustle and bustle of civilization you can find that place which will become for you, if only for a while, but Paradise. We will try to help you with your choice.
Ogasawara Archipelago
The Ogasawara Archipelago. A group of islands between Japan and the Mariana Islands, listed as a UNESCO “special” place (since last year). Getting there won’t be easy. Only once a week there is a liner from Japan to the largest of the islands – Chichijima. You will have to walk about 1000 miles. But the beauty of local flora (about half of all vegetation are endemics) and fauna, which have passed their way of development (because the islands are not connected with the mainland) will not leave you indifferent and will be permanently imprinted in your memory.
Manu’a Volcanic Islands
The Manu’a Volcanic Islands. Almost the entire area of these small 4 islands of American Samoa are nature reserves. The places are great for a secluded and peaceful vacation away from people. Despite the weak tourist infrastructure, to get here is much easier than on the previous “hero” because the regular flights connect several airports on the islands. The clearest water and coral reef, majestic mountains and pristine beaches. It’s hard to describe the beauty of this pearl of the Pacific Ocean in words.
Galapagos Islands
Galapagos Islands. Many people know about them. Located almost on the equator, the archipelago annually invites thousands of tourists to share the wealth of fauna and flora. Weather conditions are quite diverse. For example, in June and November the temperature is between 22-24 degrees. The weather is often overcast and quite wet. From December to May – the sun is warm, there is almost no wind, but it rains often. The air warms up to 26 degrees. In general, the time of arrival everyone chooses for themselves according to taste and preference.
Palau
Palau is an island nation in the Pacific Ocean. A record-breaker, in some ways, in size and time of sovereignty. The climate is hot and tropical. Amazing is the diversity of fauna. What is only 1500 species of fish in the coastal zone and a number of rare mammals, which are found only in some other areas. Palau’s reefs are home to more than 120 species of sharks. Not for nothing has the state been called the “sanctuary” of sharks. Holidays here, traveling across the ocean, is a pleasure. Developed tourist infrastructure allows you to choose from deserted beaches and the water surface with a rich underwater world, to luxurious hotels with swimming pools and all the amenities of civilization
Of course, this is only a small part of what ocean travel has to offer. After all, there is Samoa, the Marquesas Islands, Ioto Island, New Guinea, and many other places hidden from the “eyes” of the mainland. Choose, decide, prepare your itinerary and go to the edge of the world in search of new experiences and your own little Paradise.
