SERC Postdoctoral Fellowship

Call for 2013 SCOR Visiting Scholars

SCOR began a program in 2009 to enlist the services of ocean scientists from the SCOR community, from both developed countries and developing countries, to teach short courses and to provide more extended on-site education and mentorship at developing country institutions. This program is open to any scientists who have time available to spend teaching and mentoring in a developing country. The deadline for applications is 31 Dicember 2012. PhD Position at GEOMAR, Kiel

GEOMAR division “Dynamics of the Ocean Floor” is offering a PhD position starting at January 1, 2013. The PhD project will be part of the "Earth System Knowledge Platform" (ESKP), funded by the Helmholtz Association.

PhD Position at GEOMAR

The project will use the unique long sediment cores obtained by the IODP vessel JOIDES Resolution in the Andaman Sea to examine the past variability of Indian Monsoon precipitation on the Indian sub-continent and directly over the ocean. Please see the attachment below for full description.
