The 13th issue of the POGO Newsletter is now available to download. This issue provides reports on the NF-POGO Centre of Excellence in Observational Oceanography at the Alfred Wegener Institute for Polar and Marine Research which is now open for applications for the 2013 training, updates on the other POGO capacity building activities and features news articles from various POGO members.

Newsletter 12, April 2013

The 12th issue of the POGO Newsletter is now available to download. This issue provides reports on the 14th Annual POGO meeting and features news articles from various POGO members. The newsletter covers many of the POGO capacity building activities, with an introduction of the 11 Visiting Fellows selected for the POGO-SCOR and POGO-PAP-GreenSeas 2013 programmes as well as this year's POGO Visiting Professor, and a report on the 12th Austral Summer Institute in Chile.

The 11th issue of the POGO Newsletter is now available to download. This issue provides reports on the Kick-Off Symposium for the GEO Task "Oceans and Society: Blue Planet", the 2012 POGO-GreenSeas-AMT Fellowship, the 18th Conference of the Parties in Doha, the SOOS "Seeing Below the Ice" workshop and the Argo "millionth profile" celebrations.

The 10th issue of the POGO Newsletter is now available to download. This issue includes reports on the Yeosu Declaration Forum, the first Global Alliance of CPR Surveys (GACS) Board of Governance Meeting, the 2012 POGO Visiting Professorship, and news from two of the POGO members (National Institute of Oceanography Goa, India, and Scripps Institution of Oceanography, USA).

The ninth issue of the POGO Newsletter is now available to download. It includes the 2nd announcement of the Blue Planet Kick-Off Symposium, a report from the recipient of the POGO grant to attend the SAHFOS-MBA Phytoplankton Identification Workshop, an article on POGO outreach at Expo 2012, and contributions from the Global Alliance of Continuous Plankton Recorder Surveys (GACS), and from the newly-named Korea Institute of Ocean Science and Technology (KIOST).
