Job Opportunity: Post-doctoral Position, Agulhas System Climate Array (ASCA), SAEON, South Africa

The Agulhas System Climate Array (ASCA) is an array of moorings, which was partially deployed from April 2015 to April 2016, and fully deployed from April 2016 to May 2018. The team is looking for a dynamic physical oceanographer to lead the analysis of this mooring data in the context of regional impacts to South Africa in terms of shelf dynamics, coastal rainfall patterns and interactions with embayments such as Algoa Bay.

2018 Galapagos Ocean Acidification School

2018 SCOR Visiting Scholar Cristian Vargas is leading an Ocean Acidification School at the Charles Darwin Research Station, Puerto Ayora, Galápagos, Ecuador on 19-28 August 2018.
