Call for access to SIOS research infrastructure

The second call for access to the Svalbard Integrated Arctic Earth Observing System (SIOS) research infrastructure is now open.

 

The application deadline is 15th September 2018 at 16:00 CEST.

A new European Marine Board (EMB) Future Science Brief No. 3 entitled “Strengthening Europe's Capability in Biological Ocean Observations” has been published, which calls for an increase in the relevance of current (and future) European biological ocean observation capacity to strengthen global efforts towards our understanding of the ocean and enhance marine biodiversity conservation, for maintaining a healthy ocean for healthy societies.

Earth System Monitoring and Modelling Summer School (livestream)

Lectures from the ESA Earth System Monitoring and Modelling Summer School are being livestreamed every morning from 30 July to 10 August  2018 (and recordings made available for replay).
