Scientific Project Manager Position at PANGAEA, MARUM, University Bremen

PANGAEA data publisher for earth and environmental sciences ( is a joint facility of MARUM ( at University Bremen and of the AWI (, Bremerhaven. It is responsible for data integration in several national, European and international research projects. The position is initially tied to a large national data infrastructure project which aims at facilitating data sharing and stimulating data intensive science in the fields of biological and environmental research.

Postdoctoral Researcher Position in Oceanic Circulation Modeling Department of Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences Institute of Geophysics and Planetary Physics University of California, Los Angeles.


We are seeking a  researcher to work on problems of oceanic circulation dynamics using the Regional Oceanic Modeling System (ROMS).  The researcher would join a highly experienced group with expertise in computational methods, realistic simulation of complex flows, and dynamical processes.  A special focus is the interaction of currents with abyssal, continental-slope and -shelf, strait, and shoreline topographies.
