Director-General of the European Multidisciplinary Seafloor and Water-Column Observatory, Rome (Italy)

The EMSO ERIC (European Multidisciplinary Seafloor and Water-Column Observatory; European Research Infrastructure Consortium) is seeking applications for the post of Director-General. EMSO is an association of countries each of which owns and operates a diverse array of marine research infrastructures at fixed locations both in the open ocean and in shelf seas.

 

Based at the EMSO Head Office in Rome, the Director will lead this new European consortium through its initiation and first years.

Project Description

Post-Doc Researcher in Marine Geodynamics/ Fluid Flow Modelling, GEOMAR, Kiel

The GEOMAR Helmholtz Centre for Ocean Research Kiel invites applications for a Post-doctoral Researcher in Marine Geodynamics / Fluid Flow Modelling within the research unit MUHS of the research division FB4.

The project will be carried out within the "Seafloor Modelling" group, which investigates the formation and evolution of the ocean floor using numerical modelling techniques.
