OpenMODs project

POGO is supporting #OpenMODS, a project led by OGS in collaboration with AWI

OpenMODs aims to devise open access marine observation devices, that will be globally available to all. At this exploratory stage, the project partners are trying to encourage research scientists, potential partners from the private sector, and other interested parties to engage in a discussion about what is needed and how it could be achieved.

You can find out more at http://ocean-partners.org/OpenMODs or drop by stand P300 if you are at at Oceanology International in London this week (13-15 March 2018), where our colleagues from SAHFOS can put you in touch with one of the project team on site.

We have also set up two Facebook groups about the project, which interested parties are encouraged to join.
